20 Years Strong Service Project:
Attorney Bobby Stepp
Pro Bono Legal counseling to the SC Philharmonic musicians
Why you chose this service project:
As a former board member and chair I’ve always been a fan of the orchestra and their hard work. The players of the orchestra are the backbone and heart of everything that goes on. They make the music that everybody loves, so I really wanted to do something, not just for the organization but specifically for the players. They are dedicated musicians. Many times someone may need to ask a legal question but may not know who to talk with or where to turn. I’ve opened the door and if help or advice is needed, I’m here.
From the SC Philharmonic:
“Bobby showed exceptional support and dedication to the South Carolina Philharmonic through his service and leadership on our Board of Directors for many years, so when he told us about Sowell Gray’s 20th Anniversary service project initiative, I was not surprised that he selected our orchestra members to receive Pro Bono legal services. This is a wonderful gift for which we are very appreciative!”
