COLUMBIA, S.C. – Attorney Christopher Acre has joined Robinson Gray law firm as an associate. His practice will focus on workers’ compensation defense. 

Prior to joining Robinson Gray, Chris practiced in South Carolina workers’ compensation defense, handling claims from initial referral through resolution. He also brings experience in civil litigation, appellate matters and governmental representation, including defending claims under the South Carolina Tort Claims Act and advising schools and municipalities on personnel and other legal matters. 

“Chris comes to Robinson Gray with valuable experience handling workers’ compensation matters and a strong foundation in litigation,” said Michael Montgomery, managing member of Robinson Gray. “Combined with his work ethic and commitment to his clients, that experience makes him a great addition to our team.” 

Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2023, where he served on the managing and editorial boards of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He was also a member of the First-Generation Student Association and served as a UGA Law mentor.
