Chambers again honors Robinson Gray, singling out Gray, Stepp and Watson

COLUMBIA, S.C. – In its 2023 edition, Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, has again honored Robinson Gray for its work in the area of general commercial litigation.

“Robinson Gray Stepp & Laffitte is an exceptionally able specialist litigation firm with an outstanding bench of experienced and high-quality attorneys,”  Chambers said in naming the firm to the South Carolina list. It praised Robinson Gray for its work in “commercial, insurance and personal injury law,”  and said it was also “adept at handling healthcare, professional liability and securities litigation.”

This is the 20th straight year that the firm has been cited by Chambers.

For the fourth time in as many years, Chambers singled out three Robinson Gray members: Betsy Gray, Bobby Stepp and Cal Watson. The guide passed on comments about each of the three, saying that:

  • Betsy Gray is “a top-tier trial lawyer who is very well respected.”
  • Bobby Stepp has “been involved in big litigation over the years.”
  • Cal Watson “has courtroom experience and a great reputation in the Bar,” and is “well respected by other lawyers..”
