COLUMBIA, S.C– Attorney Joshua Strickland has joined Robinson Gray law firm as an associate. His practice will focus on business litigation, professional liability and ethics, and administrative and regulatory matters.

Josh received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law in 2026, where he was active in several student organizations. He held leadership positions with the South Carolina Law Review, Federalist Society and Lincoln-Douglas Debate Society and was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. He also received CALI Awards in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Trial Advocacy, and Legal Writing. Following law school, Josh was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received the President’s Medallion, given to the graduating student with the highest GPA.

During law school, Josh gained experience in state government through clerkships with the South Carolina Governor’s Office of General Counsel and the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee. His work included legal research and writing related to litigation and appellate matters, as well as researching and summarizing proposed legislation.

Josh earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the Limestone University Honors College, where he was a member of the Criminal Justice Honor Society and played on the university’s football team.
