Sowell Gray Lawyer’s Star Shines
Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte, LLC attorney Amy L.B. Hill has been named a star by two distinguished organizations.
As a member of the Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte, LLC team, Amy has been named one of the top young litigators in South Carolina by Benchmark Litigation, the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys.
Amy was noted as a “Future Star” for her commercial and professional malpractice work.
Benchmark conducts extensive face-to-face interviews around the country over a year-long period to pinpoint the best all-around “bet-the-company” trial attorneys at both the local and national levels.
Additionally, Amy has been named Star of the Quarter for 2008-2009 by the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division for her work developing the Mothers Practicing Law Program, a panel discussion geared towards providing frank advice from more experienced female lawyers and mothers on how to be a successful mother and lawyer. The goal of the program is to increase the number of women in the legal field throughout the different career stages.
