COLUMBIA, SC – Four Sowell Gray members have again been featured as leaders in their field in the latest edition of Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.

This is the sixth year Chambers has named Sowell Gray members Betsy Gray, Biff Sowell, Bobby Stepp and Cal Watson as among the nation’s best. The guide honors all four in the category of litigation: general commercial.

Chambers USA is an internationally recognized guide to the legal profession that recognizes the top law firms and attorneys nationwide. The publication first included Sowell Gray in its 2006 edition. “This group of high-profile litigators continues to grow in reputation and stature while maintaining its client focus,” past editions have said about the firm.

Ratings are based on thousands of confidential, in-depth interviews with law firms, clients, colleagues and competitors. Attorneys are assessed on legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities most valued by clients.
