Brandon Rattray named to Kids’ Chance of South Carolina Board of Directors
Columbia, S.C. – Robinson Gray is pleased to announce that associate Brandon Rattray has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by serious workplace injuries.
Kids’ Chance of South Carolina provides college and vocational school scholarships to children of workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident. Since 1993, the organization has awarded more than $1 million in scholarship funds throughout the state.
Brandon will serve a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2026.
As a workers’ compensation defense attorney representing employers, carriers, and self-insureds across South Carolina, Brandon brings deep knowledge of workplace-injury issues to the Board.
“Kids’ Chance plays a vital role in helping families rebuild after life-altering workplace accidents,” Brandon said. “I’m honored to support an organization that aligns so closely with the work I do on behalf of employers and insurers across the state.”
In addition to Kids’ Chance, Brandon is a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, and was a 2025 graduate of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Columbia program. He earned his juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law (now the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law), graduating in the top 20% of his class, and received CALI Awards in Trial Advocacy and Accounting for Attorneys.
