Kelly Morrow elected to board of S.C. Workers’ Compensation Educational Association

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kelly Morrow, a workers’ compensation attorney with Robinson Gray, was voted onto the board of the S.C. Workers’ Compensation Educational Association at the organization’s recent Educational Conference.

Her term starts the first day of 2024. She is one of four new members joining the 23-member board.

SCWCEA is a nonprofit organization of more than 600 workers’ compensation professionals in South Carolina. It conducts educational programs and provides educational resources for those involved in workers’ compensation claims across the state. Learn more at https://www.scwcea.org/.

Kelly joins the board just as Robinson Gray Member Grady Beard ends his two-year term as president of the organization. Grady first joined the SCWCEA board in 2014.

Kelly is a member of Robinson Gray’s Executive Committee. Her practice is focused on workers’ compensation and workers’ compensation mediation.

She has tried hundreds of cases before the S.C. Workers’ Compensation Commission, representing carriers and employers. She is also a certified Circuit Court Mediator. She regularly presents on trends in workers’ compensation. She has been cited for excellence in workers’ compensation law by Best Lawyers in America since 2022, and is honored for 2024 with the title of Lawyer of the Year.

She is an alumna of the Furman University Women’s Leadership Institute, and previously held the position of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair at Robinson Gray.

After completing her undergraduate work at Clemson University in 1999, she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2004.
