Areas of Focus
Ashley focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense.
While in law school, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business and participated in mock trial. After law school, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Steven H. John of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Ashley also co-chairs the summer law clerk program which offers law students the opportunity to develop professionally though legal work, networking, and an introduction to the firm culture.
- Represented self-insured employers in handling of South Carolina Workers’ Compensation.
- Developed exposure analysis to provide employers with comprehensive and realistic case expectations.
- Defended medical doctor depositions and provided employers with aggressive representation at same.
