Robinson Gray is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing complex commercial real estate transactions and takes pride in ensuring transactions move efficiently from due diligence through post-closing.
The Ideal Candidate Possesses
- 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
- Experience reviewing and analyzing title work
- Experience preparing title insurance commitments, policies, and title-related documents
- Knowledge of South Carolina real estate closing documents and procedures
- Experience with commercial loan transactions and corporate due diligence
- Proven experience administering and reconciling real estate trust and escrow accounts, including balancing daily transactions, monitoring deposits and disbursements, maintaining accurate trust ledgers, and ensuring compliance with attorney trust accounting requirements and commercial real estate closing procedures
- Proficiency in SoftPro, or other closing settlement software system, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Strong communication skills with lenders, borrowers, sellers, buyers, and other parties regarding closing requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Experience handling confidential financial and legal information
- Conduct out-of-state corporate and UCC searches and filings
- Manage closing timelines and critical transaction deadlines
