Litigation Paralegal

Robinson Gray is seeking an experienced paralegal to support the firm’s civil litigation team.  Our work environment is innovative in its physical space, employee retention strategies, implementation of technology, and culture.  We need creative thinkers who can help us maximize our efforts to create an inclusive, respectful workplace.


The Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Paralegal Certificate
  • Understanding of the State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Proficiency with the CM/ECF filing (State and Federal)
  • Technology proficiency
  • Experience with e-discovery and software platforms
  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information


Essential Job Duties

  • Meets with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects
  • Assists with tracking and maintaining all documents produced in a case
  • Monitors, schedules, and coordinates all aspects of depositions
  • Ensures that all deadlines have been properly scheduled utilizing designated calendars
  • Assists attorneys with preparing for trial, including organizing all exhibits and documents, and coordinating trial setup and logistics
  • Drafts legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and discovery requests, files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures
  • Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items
  • Develops and maintains records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
