The Nuts & Bolts of a Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant position at Robinson Gray:
- Track schedules, dates, and various associated deadlines
- Complete all deadline filings to the SC Workers’ Compensation Commission
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Facilitate correspondence management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining workers compensation documents (both physical and electronic)
- Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Coordinate with other legal professionals for filings and transfer of correspondence between attorneys
- Maintain attorney calendars, ensuring deadlines and appointments are accurately tracked
- Perform administrative tasks
