Construction Litigation
When litigation is necessary, Robinson Gray has lawyers with the knowledge and experience to handle complex construction litigation. Our attorneys have experience in the prosecution and defense of construction claims brought by or against owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, manufacturers, design professionals, builders risk insurers, and sureties. Our experience includes a variety of projects such as large condominium projects, hotels, schools, hospitals, and large commercial storage facilities. We also have significant experience with construction litigation involving synthetic stucco systems and roofing systems. Finally, our construction litigation work involves insurance or surety claims in both the private and public arenas.
Construction litigation often goes beyond the courtroom and involves arbitration, mediation or the presentation or defense of claims before other dispute resolution boards. Our lawyers are comfortable and effective regardless of the forum. Several of our lawyers are themselves arbitrators and mediators and understand the important role that dispute resolution can play in the costly and timely resolution of our clients’ construction related needs. Our construction litigators can also use their experience to help draft and counsel our clients in the negotiation and drafting phase of construction projects. Having seen many problems on the “back end” makes our lawyers well suited to advise clients on the “front end.” It is often difficult to imagine the ways that a project might go wrong unless you have seen the results. Robinson Gray can assist its clients in avoiding these costly mistakes.
Time is generally crucial to the economic success of a construction project. Our clients know that the Robinson Gray construction team will quickly assess their issues and work towards the most efficient, advantageous resolution for them. Our service is personal and tailored to each client and situation. With experience in construction projects of many sizes and types involving nearly every issue, our team can truly become part of your team.
