Attorneys
Rob is a member of the firm and practices in the areas of business litigation, administrative and regulatory law, and election law.
Rob has represented clients before the South Carolina Supreme Court and other levels of state and federal courts and has appeared before many local and state government entities.
He has handled complex constitutional and election law matters, as well as a wide range of business disputes. His election law experience includes representing candidates, county election commissions, political parties, and other stakeholders in election-related litigation. Rob frequently appears before local government councils, boards, and commissions on matters ranging from procurement to annexation.
During the 2020 Census cycle, Rob, as co-counsel for the South Carolina Senate, defended the Congressional redistricting plan at the trial court level and through the appeal to the United States Supreme Court. Rob also represented numerous local government entities in redistricting matters. He and other Robinson Gray attorneys have represented many clients over the last two redistricting cycles. Rob has extensive experience in government law, ranging from handling regulatory complaints before state agencies to serving as counsel for a South Carolina state agency. In 2024, he was appointed to the South Carolina Governor’s Insurance Law Review and Study Committee, which developed recommendations for the South Carolina General Assembly aimed at strengthening the state’s business climate.
A South Carolina Certified Mediator, Rob regularly volunteers his time to assist with small claims mediations in magistrate court. He has also served as a hearing officer for numerous school districts in teacher employment disputes.
